Vote For House Planning Help in The Be2Awards
Last month I celebrated House Planning Help's first birthday. This month I'm pleased to report that we've been nominated for an award!
From the start, the purpose of the blog has been to explore what houses we should be building in the 21st century.
I had serious questions about the quality of many of the new homes being built near where I live. Alongside that was a desire to increase my knowledge of how energy-efficient buildings can actually be, ahead of tackling a project myself.

Producing this content is a passion and although I'm not in this to win awards, it is always nice to get some recognition for what you do. It spurs me on! Plus, if this can bring any new eyes to the blog then that has to be good news.
I also do feel that this topic is important and I'm very pleased that experts on the vanguard of green building have been happy to share their knowledge. We need to be on a path to make our buildings much more efficient than they already are and I'm not sure that's happening at any great pace at the moment.
Anyway, I don't want to launch into a rant! Instead I'd like to ask for your help. We've been nominated in the ‘best sustainability or built environment blog' category at The Be2Awards 2013.
Please can you vote for us. It's very simple to do: follow the link, select us from the list and press ‘vote'. Job done.
Thank you in advance . . . and feel free to share this article with others!
